Yummy Ramen in IPPUDO Restaurant at Pacific Place Mall in Jakarta

Japanese food is really yummy and my favorite asian food. One of my favorite food is ramen, noodle with some flavour. I love ramen. So I tried to find Japanese restaurant called IPPUDO. As you know Ippudo is a Hakata-style tonkotsu ramen from Japan that was founded in 1985. They have more than 80 stores in Japan and more than 40 stores worldwide including London, New York, Sydney, Hong Kong, China, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, South Korea and finally Indonesia. Shigemi Kawahara the founder of Ippudo ramen was crowned as Ramen King in 2005 and won 3 championships on TV Champion for Ramen Chef edition, very popular, is it? Pacific Place as my favorite mall in Jakarta because it was easy to get in in central of Jakarta and near to my office,  if you also love ramen you can Tokyo Shoyu Chicken Ramen, because I've learned my lesson eating spicy  chicken ramen, it’s really yummy.

But do you know who is founder of IPPUDO. Here he is the mas is called Shigemi Kawahara, the Ramen King, is the founder of Ippudo, Japan’s highly acclaimed ramen emporium. Kawahara earned the title of Ramen King and a place in the Ramen Hall of Fame after three consecutive first place wins on a Japanese television program where ramen mavens compete to create the best ramen.

Kawahara is best known for turning the Hakata-style tonkotsu  ramen into the delicate creamy version that earned Ippudo its national acclaim. He has also elevated ramen to the realm of art by creating new ramen varieties that draw from international concepts, ingredients and cooking techniques.His signature dishes include The Ramen King, a pork-based ramen served with a cube of gelatinous foam that changes the taste of every spoonful of soup as it dissolves in the broth.
He was born and raised in Fukuoka City, Kyushu, Kawahara is the youngest of four brothers. He became interested in the restaurant and hospitality industry after graduating from college and consequently worked and trained in a number of European restaurants in Japan. In 1979, at the age of 27, Kawahara opened his first restaurant and bar named ‘After the Rain’ in Fukuoka city.
Kawahara opened the first Ippudo, with a seating of ten, in his hometown in October 1985. Since then, Ippudo has grown to include over 120 restaurants in 12 different countries, serving more than 45,000 customers per day. Kawahara’s attention to detail and hospitality redefined Japan’s ramen experience. Ippudo was the first ramen shop that allowed diners to enjoy quality ramen in a carefully-crafted setting. Each Ippudo is known for serving a unique signature ramen dish and all of the locations offer seasonal dishes. Ippudo was also the first to refer to broth by colour Aka (red) and Shiro (white), which soon became a standard industry practice.

Ippudo offers springy ultra thin straight noodle with 4 types of noodle hardness type: Soft / Normal / Hard / Very Hard.  I choose chose hard type with a firm texture, you can try the Hard one to get more al dente texture of the noodle. The ramen at Ippudo was nice, the service itself was fast, prompt and flawless. And one more things if you want to take away the menu just order some IPPUDO Indonesia features their new take away menu such as Ramen : Shiromaru Regular 68′, Shiromaru Small 52′, Akamaru Regular 73′, Akamaru Small 55′, Karaka Men Regular ’77, Karaka Men Small 58′, Buns (min 2 buns), Ebi Bun / Spicy Chicken Bun 29′, 3 Buns Combo 75′, Appetizer :. Sooverall, I was finally recomended the restaurant is really cozy and food is really  yummy and I have enjoyable all my experience in eating. You must eat and taste it also and ask your friend and family to visit IPPUDO. Or maybe you also can tried  topping chicken meat even larger. Ippudo no offer economical package so so starting from the price 125 thousand rupiahs, with the money you can get one bowl of ramen and appetizer, for more details maybe can be checked directly in their Instagam because I also get information from their instagram  @ippudoindonesia and find the restaurant in IPPUDO Ramen Pacific Place Mall, Level 5 Located at the 5th floor of Pacific Place Mall behind Shaburi and Kintan, the restaurant is quite spacious with posh stylish interior and huge chandeliers hanging inside the restaurant with bowls hanging on the wall at Jl.
